Friday I was offered a teaching position! I literally jumped up and down with joy. I still have a hard time NOT smiling!!!! I'm so excited!
I am going to be a kindergarten teacher which when I first started teaching kinder was not what I had in mind. I wanted older kids because I wanted them to be more independent, however working with preschool age children this year as shown me how much I just love being around kids and how they really make me happy.
I am sad to be leaving Primrose because I will miss my kids soooo much, however I am even more excited to get a new group of kids to love.
Tomorrow I am going to get the keys to my school and get to see my room!!!! I'm super excited and can't wait to start planning and decorating my room! After that I'm going to sign my contract!
I'm super excited to be getting an actual salary with BENEFITS!!!!
After all of that I'm headed up to Primrose to work a couple of hours.
It is going to be hard to make ends meet while waiting on this first paycheck but I will be so happy having my own room that I won't care!!!
